Creativity and Artists galore at 2018 Kala Ghoda Arts Festival Reloaded hosted at Runwal Elegante, Andheri

MUMBAI: 25th Feb, 2018: Kala Ghoda Arts Festival – Reloaded at one of the premium address in western suburbs – Runwal Elegante saw art lovers enjoying the evening.
A must visit for many art lovers, the art festival has garnered equal fervor among the locale and visitors who throng the festival from all corners of the city and outstation to enjoy the eclectic mix of arts, music and culture exchange.  The on-going festival includes over 20 Art installations, an Art Gallery displaying works of popular artists around the country. There are various art workshops for the children, Live Band, and performances at the venue.  Some of the noted artists whose works are on display at the Art Gallery and Installations are M F Hussain, Raza, Shreehari Bhosale, Vaikunth, Suhas Roy, Laxma Goud, Achyut Palav, Shola Carletti and other prominent names from the world of art.  Besides all things artistic, there is the regular flea bazar which makes the aesthetic location a fun weekend for the entire family at the festival.
Flutiest Suleiman, winner of the popular TV show India’s Got Talent mesmerized the crowd with his soulful performance. The sundowner performance by the 13-year-old was met with happy cheers by the crowd. The child maestro has trained under Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia and had started taking his flute lessons from his father at the age of three. Soon Suleiman kickstarted performing as a child at the early age of 5yrs and since then has gone on to win various talent shows.
“I have always known about Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is the most popular event in the country and I thoroughly enjoyed the energy at the festival.  It is so humbling to see the family and kids especially respond to my music the way they do. I look forward to coming back soon for another performance at this beautiful venue at Runwal” said the young artist. On being asked about his favorite cartoon character he was quick to reply - Doremon. “I love Bollywood action movies and my favorite actors are John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan.”

About Kala Ghoda Festival: The Festival is organized by the Kala Ghoda Association (a non-profit organization which aspires to promote arts and culture in Mumbai). The festival sections are visual arts, dance, music, literature including children's literature as a subsection, workshops, urban design and architecture, food, a dedicated section for children, and a vibrant street section including stalls selling eco-friendly, handmade arts and crafts wares.
