Speaking on her award Falguni says,"2018 started on a positive note for me. In January I received the prestigious Kalakar award for my character Gulfam Kali in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. This is an award which has a long journey of 26 years. I am very happy and proud to be a part of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. I am aware that my role Gulfam Kali is extremely popular but when you get an award for your performance you get an extra high and acknowledgement. This is much needed for an actor." So whom would you like to dedicate this award to? "Definitely the makers Binaifer mam and Sanjay Sir who brought this show in front of the audience, and the director Shashank Bali and the writer Manoj Santoshi. Without their talent and support I would have never been able to make this role so popular with the masses."
She adds," Gulfam Kali is not seen every day in the show, so with that much presence also I have been able to pull the audience and that is a special feeling. Am grateful to my audience as well."
The Kalakar Awards is widely recognized as one of the leading award ceremonies in Eastern India. The 26th Kalakar Awards was presented at Science City Auditorium in Kolkata on January 14, 2018." This was not Falguni's first visit to Kolkata, she has been there before as well. So what do you like most there? "Definitely the mishti doi (sweet curd) and phuchka (gol gappe) this time also I got a lot of sweet curd for home."
