In 2008 Indian Cinema witnessed one of the most spectacular and epic love stories ever told when
Ashutosh Gowariker’s magnum opus
"Jodhaa Akbar" hit the screens. And as the 16-century love story, which revolved around the Muslim king Akbar and his bold and beautiful wife Jodhaa, completed ten years of mesmerising the audience all over the globe, the team behind this grand spectacle came together to celebrate the occasion.
Right from the production team to the costume team to the art team, everyone came together after ten years to celebrate the glorious film. Interestingly, it was the Jodhaa Akbar team that had organised the gettogether for writer-director Ashutosh Gowariker, and all of them sat together and once again watched the movie and got nostalgic about it.
The team that had united after ten long years went down the memory lane discussing the behind the scene moments of the film and enjoyed each other’s company. Everyone involved with the film has now made a mark for themselves and in fact, two ADS – Gurmmeet Singh and Karan Malhotra, who had worked on Jodhaa Akbar, are now directing their own films.
