The music of the hilarious
Marathi film "Gadbad Jhaali" produced by
Dr Jitendra Rathod and Co producer
Ramesh Roshan and directed by writer-director
Santram was held at the Kohonoor Hotel at Prabhadevi on Tuesday. Instead of getting some film person to come and release the music of the film, the
PRO Rajoo Kariya decided to hold a raffle and asked the heroine Neha Ghadre to pick a name. A name was picked and it was that of the
Senior Journalist Shri Jyothi Venkatesh, who has completed 45 years in film journalism and is also the Editor of the popular English film and lifestyle fortnightly called Cinebuster to release the music of the film in the presence of leading man
Rajesh Shringarpure, Neha Ghadre etc. The PRO said that since Jyothi Venkatesh is often confused as a woman by virtue of his name and also by a strange coincidence his wife's name is also Jyothi, he felt that it was in the fitness of things that Jyothi Venkatesh should release the music of the film "Gadbad Jhaali" as the chief guest.
The other artistes who are working in the film are
Usha Nadkarni, Harsha Gupte, Vikas Patil, Sanjay Mophite, Pramod Shinde, Harshi, Niranjan Nalavade and last but not the least
Mohan Joshi. Chetna is the choreographer for the film while the co-producer Ramesh Roshan has scored the music for the film. Sandeep Shinde is the DOP for the film while Prashant Naik is the Action Master. Pappu Raj is the art director while Ajay Singh Malla is the production controller.
