Rajan Shahi to venture into a Marathi show

Mumbai: Producer Rajan Shahi who has made a mark in the industry with cult shows like "Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke" and many more, has started a new journey in the Marathi GEC with "Aai Kuthe Kay Karte" with Madhurani Prabhulkar in the lead, followed by the cast Medha Jambotkar, Milind Gawli, Apurva Gore, Abhishek Deshmukh, and Niranjan Kulkarni.

The first episode aired on 23rd December 7:30 pm on Star Pravah and Rajan Shahi celebrated the launch in the presence of his mother Deepa Shahi, the cast and the crew. The event followed by watching the episode together and a cake cutting was done by Shahi with the cast.

Talking about the show he says, "Basically, in Director's Kut production, we always like to explore different genres, different mediums, different platforms. And we have a great relationship with the Star network. And when this opportunity did come with Star Pravah, we call it a great platform to tell a very beautiful story which had to be told. And the reason for it is that "Aai Kuthe Kay Karte" is a very, very sensitive, beautiful story of a mother's journey. And that is the main reason you know, we decided to go ahead and make the show."
