PV Sindhu inducts father PV Ramana and Shyam Sunder Rao into "Prime Volleyball League Hall of Fame"

 

Hyderabad: Two-time Olympic Medallist PV Sindhu inducted Arjuna Awardees Shri PV Ramana and Arjuna & Dronacharya Awardees Shri Shyam Sunder Rao into the "Prime Volleyball League Hall of Fame" on Saturday.

The RuPay Prime Volleyball League honored two of the greatest Indian volleyball players during the opening ceremony at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Mr. Srinivas Goud, Minister for Sports in Telangana also graced the opening ceremony in Hyderabad and declared the RuPay Prime Volleyball League open.

The seven franchises participating in season 1 are Ahmedabad Defenders, Bengaluru Torpedoes, Calicut Heroes, Chennai Blitz, The seven franchises participating in season 1 are Ahmedabad Defenders, Bengaluru Torpedoes, Calicut Heroes, Chennai Blitz, Hyderabad Black Hawks, Kochi Blue Spikers, and Kolkata Thunderbolts who will battle it out for the prestigious Prime Volleyball trophy from February 5 - February 27.

"The RuPay Prime Volleyball League" will feature a total of 24 matches.
