Thane: "Chingari" powered by '$GARI', in association with 'Thane Municipal Corporation' celebrated "World Bicycle" and "Environment Day" on 5th June 2022. Chingari's creators rode bicycles sponsored by COO Rides, from destination A - Vartak Nagar to the event destination B- Swargya Dada Kondake Amphitheatre, Thane.
A distance of 5kms was covered by the cyclists to reach the event destination. Through this activity the, Chingari creators and the team wanted to celebrate a cleaner and happier environment under Chingari's campaign #WheelsofChange - and spread the message that 'Not only Our health but also the health of Our Environment will be much better with the use of bicycles'
The event was attended by dignitaries like: Namrata Bhosle-Jadhav - Ex-corporator, TMC; Mr. Deepak Salvi, Co-founder & COO, Chingari App; Mr. Vivek Dubey, Director of upcoming Marathi Film- Funeral; Star Cast of the movie including Aroh Velankar, Siddhesh Pujare & Tanvi Barve.
The movie is about the ordinary life of four friends, which takes an interesting turn when one of them decides to start a business in funeral management. Hira (Aroh Velankar) finds unique ways for people to bid goodbye to their loved ones.
Speaking on the efforts and ideation put behind conducting this event celebrating our environment, Sumit Ghosh, CEO & Co-Founder, of Chingari, said, “The climate crisis is a global concern and an issue that needs massive attention and redemption plans such as planting more trees, recycling, water preservation, etc., and as a ethnocentric creator platform, we are providing a stage for our creators to spread social awareness through their videos, on things that matter the most. Our creators have audiences of 150M+ Indians, who can benefit from these videos and can start acting towards protecting our environment. Our objective has always been to uplift society and creates awareness around social issues and #WheelsofChange is also a step towards the same. We believe that this activity will instill the idea of the need for environment preservation amongst the people of the country.”

'Chingari App' to spread massive awareness through their campaign #WheelsofChange, conducted similar events across 5 other cities in India, including Bangalore, Kanyakumari, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, and Hyderabad, and witnessed a participation of over 150+ creators to celebrate this activity with immense enthusiasm.
