Shemaroo MarathiBana’s show ‘Sau. Pratap Manasi Supekar’ Stars Gear Up for Makar Sankranti Celebration

 

Mumbai: With ‘Makar Sankranti’ around the corner, ‘Shemaroo MarathiBana’ commemorated the festival on the sets of 'Sau. Pratap Manasi Supekar’. Adding to the excitement, the lead characters Pratap (played by Pradeep Ghule) and Manasi (played by Tanvee Kiran) celebrated their first Sankranti together after their recent marriage in the show, making the occasion even more memorable.

Pradeep Ghule, who portrays the character of Pratap in the show, shares how they celebrated Makar Sankranti on set, "During Makar Sankranti, we follow a traditional practice of placing new items before God as a gesture of respect and belonging. But this year celebrating Makar Sankranti on the set of our show ‘Sau. Pratap Manasi Supekar’ was a unique and delightful experience. Flying kites with my co-stars and sharing Tilgul added a festive touch to our day. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter. It was heartwarming to celebrate this auspicious occasion with my co-stars and we created beautiful memories together."

Tanvee Kiran, who beautifully portrays the character of Manasi in the show, shared her heartfelt sentiments, she said, "Makar Sankranti is not just a festival; it's a celebration of the cherished bonds we share with our loved ones. And this year on the set of ‘Sau. Pratap Manasi Supekar’ we participated in the kite-flying activity with my co-stars and it made this Sankranti truly memorable. The aroma of sesame seeds filled dishes and the sweetness of Tilgul added a delicious flavor to the celebration. Sharing Tilgul and exchanging sweet words with everyone created a warm and festive atmosphere. It was not just a celebration; it was a moment of bonding and togetherness that will be cherished for a long time."

The stars were dressed in beautiful traditional outfits to celebrate the festivities. The day started with an exciting kite-flying event, symbolizing unity and happiness. Artists on set shared Tilgul, a sweet treat made from sesame seeds, bringing a delightful and traditional flavour to the celebration. This sweet gesture signifies sharing kind words and strengthening connections among loved ones.
