Mumbai: The "All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council" (GJC) has announced the 5th edition of its flagship event, the 'India Gems and Jewellery Show' (GJS April 2024), scheduled from 2nd to 5th April 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. GJS events, popularly known as the Indian jewellers’ #HamaraApnaShow, have become a vital platform for future growth and are considered a 'must-attend' in the industry.
The timing of the 5th edition of GJS is strategic, aiming to support the growth in jewellery demand before 'Akshay Tritiya' and after 'Gudipadwa', aligning with the wedding season.
The show is expected to host over 350 exhibitors across 600 booths, attracting around 12,000 visitors and generating over 2,000 room nights for the hosted buyers. Attendees can expect a diverse range of jewellery designs and ample parking space, streamlining the procurement process for retailers by bringing together manufacturers and wholesalers under one roof.
The main highlight of the 'GJS April 2024 Show' will be the presence of all classes of jewellery players, providing networking opportunities and interactive seminars to exchange knowledge about ongoing jewellery demand trends and potential new launches.
The event will serve as the premier platform for showcasing new designs and fashion trends, attracting corporates, chain stores, and single stores from India and around the world. Additionally, a comprehensive list of hosted buyers is expected to enhance the overall business potential of the show.
Mr. Saiyam Mehra, Chairman of GJC and Convenor of GJS April 2024 Show, expressed, “GJS April 2024 Show will be the ultimate sourcing platform for new designs and fashion trends and a must-attend for every jeweller, small-to-big, to enrich their jewellery collection in their showroom."
Mr. Rajesh Rokde, Vice Chairman of GJC, highlighted the opportunity the event presents for various stakeholders in the jewellery value chain to connect and collaborate. He expressed gratitude to exhibitors and attendees for their contributions to the success of past editions and emphasized the council's commitment to providing the best experience to the industry.
Mr. Nilesh S Shobhawat, Co-Convenor of GJS and Director of GJC, assured that the program has been designed to meet the interests and needs of jewellers, aiming to provide an extraordinary experience for all participants.
