HDFC Life secures ‘Leadership’ position in the Indian Corporate Governance Scorecard 2023

 

Mumbai: “HDFC Life”, a prominent life insurer in India, has achieved recognition in the 'Leadership' category of the 'Indian Corporate Governance Scorecard Assessment 2023', conducted by the ‘Institutional Investor Advisory Services’ (IiAS) on December 31, 2023. This marks the third consecutive year that ‘HDFC Life’ has been acknowledged in this esteemed list.

The assessment evaluates the S&P BSE 100 companies using the Indian Corporate Governance Scorecard framework, developed jointly by IFC, BSE, and IiAS. This framework aligns with the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance and has been in use since 2015.

Narendra Gangan, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Company Secretary at HDFC Life, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, "We are honoured and humbled to once again feature in the prestigious Leadership list of the Indian Corporate Governance Scorecard.
