Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal Inaugurates Bharat Ratnam - Mega Common Facility Centre in SEEPZ Mumbai for the Gem & Jewellery Industry

 

National: The inauguration of "Bharat Ratnam - Mega CFC" marks a significant leap forward for India's gem and jewellery industry, symbolizing a commitment to innovation, skill development, and global competitiveness. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and supported by the “Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council” (GJEPC) and ‘SEEPZ SEZ’, this groundbreaking project is poised to redefine the sector's landscape.

Graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon. Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, along with other dignitaries, the commencement ceremony underscored the government's vision for driving economic growth and technological progress.

‘Bharat Ratnam - Mega CFC’ is not just a facility; it represents a transformative initiative aimed at empowering artisans, entrepreneurs, and MSMEs in the gem and jewellery sector. With its state-of-the-art infrastructure spanning 1.15 lakh square feet, the center houses advanced technologies, training facilities, and spaces for buyer-seller meets and symposiums.
