Rome: "Bvlgari", the iconic luxury brand, chose its hometown, Rome, to unveil its new High-End Collection, "Aeterna", in celebration of its 140th anniversary. The collection includes over 500 exquisite creations, featuring High Jewelry, High Jewelry Watches, High-End Bags, and Very High-End Fragrances. This milestone was celebrated with a breathtaking event at the Terme di Diocleziano, a historical architectural marvel in Rome, accessible exclusively to 'Bvlgari' for this special occasion.
The Terme di Diocleziano, spanning 13 hectares and once accommodating up to 3,000 people, provided a stunning backdrop with its splendid sculptures and ancient ruins. International guests, including Bvlgari's Brand Ambassadors Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Liu Yifei, Shu Qi, Hikari Mori, and Alessandro Gassman, experienced the event's grandeur. The evening highlighted the timeless beauty of the Terme di Diocleziano and Bvlgari's High Jewelry creations, blending past, present, and future.
To mark the anniversary, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, the most precious piece ever crafted by 'Bvlgari'. This stunning necklace features seven D flawless diamond drops totaling 140.00 carats and 698 baguette diamonds weighing 61.81 carats. It took over 2,800 hours to complete, showcasing Bvlgari's unparalleled creativity and craftsmanship.
The evening included a spectacular jewelry show in the Chiostro Ludovisi, styled by Carine Roitfeld, featuring an iconic cast including Mariacarla Boscono, Blesnya Minher, Elisabetta Dessy, Isabella Rossellini, Carla Bruni, and Giacomo Cavalli. Before the show, guests enjoyed a poetic duet by choreographer Sadeck Berrabah and ballet dancer Eleonora Abbagnato, celebrating Bvlgari's fusion of classic and contemporary art.
Following this, a choreography by Sadeck Berrabah and 80 dancers captivated the audience. The evening continued at the Chiostro di Michelangelo with a gala dinner by Michelin-starred chef Massimiliano Alajmo, followed by a live performance by artist Elisa.
As part of the celebration, 'Bvlgari' unveiled "Vista Aeterna", an immersive installation by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis, gifted to Rome under the patronage of the Fondazione Bvlgari. Located at Piazza di Spagna from May 19th to June 15th, this installation features twelve travertine pillars with rotating mirrors, capturing sunlight to project warm tones onto the surroundings, symbolizing the eternal city's luminosity.
'Bvlgari' also introduced the Bvlgari Digital Passport, a digital record on the Aura private blockchain, ensuring the highest standards of transparency and security for each High Jewelry creation.
This event highlighted Bvlgari's continued innovation and dedication to luxury, celebrating its rich heritage while looking towards a bright future.
