Mumbai: The “National Real Estate Development Council” (NAREDCO) Maharashtra is hosting India’s largest real estate expo, “HOMETHON Property Expo 2024”, from October 4 to 6, 2024, at the JIO World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai. This third edition is expected to draw significant attention, with over 50,000 homebuyers already registering to explore their dream homes.

The expo will be inaugurated in the presence of Shri Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, where ‘NAREDCO Maharashtra’ will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for its new initiative, ‘Sustainable and Environment-Friendly Future Housing’. This effort aims to promote the use of bamboo as a climate-friendly material in housing construction, in collaboration with the ‘PHOENIX FOUNDATION SANSTHA’, led by Mr. Pasha Patel, a veteran advocate of bamboo cultivation. The initiative seeks to encourage developers to focus on sustainability and support the state’s net-zero initiatives.

Mr. Rajan Bandelkar, Vice Chairman of NAREDCO, emphasized their dedication to building a sustainable ecosystem, while Mr. Prashant Sharma, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra, highlighted the surge in homebuyer interest and the exclusive discounts available at the expo. In addition to showcasing over 1,000 projects ranging from ₹19 Lakhs to ₹9 Crores, the expo will feature career opportunities within the real estate sector, redevelopment discussions, and environmental initiatives.

Bollywood stars Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh will be endorsing the event, which promises a unique experience, blending real estate with green, sustainable housing options.
