Pune: "Birla Opus Paints", part of 'Grasim Industries' under the 'Aditya Birla Group', has bolstered its presence in Pune by launching four new franchisee stores. This expansion follows the success of its initial stores in Chandan Nagar, Alandi, and Manchar earlier this year. The newly inaugurated stores are located in Chinchwad, Kothrud, Yerwada, and Manjari, further solidifying the brand's footprint in the city.
The new franchisee stores are designed as comprehensive hubs for Birla Opus Paints' offerings. With texture displays, shade decks, and expert consultations, they promise an engaging shopping experience for customers seeking vibrant colors and innovative solutions.
Birla Opus Paints’ rapid expansion aligns with the activation of four out of six state-of-the-art, automated manufacturing facilities across India, including the newest in Chamarajnagar, Karnataka. These plants have elevated the brand’s production capacity to over 860+ million liters per annum (MLPA), establishing it as the second-largest decorative paints player by installed capacity.
Over 80% of planned 145 products are now in the market.
The company aims to achieve the second-largest dealer network and reach 6,000 towns nationwide.
Currently, the brand has established stores in 80+ cities, with plans to expand to 150+ cities.
