The international honor is being presented for his inspiring work in public welfare, national integration, and empowerment of youth.
Organized in collaboration with Navkiran Sanstha (Films), Beed District Police Foundation, Nepal Film Technicians Association, and Mask Netherlands, the INSCR award acknowledges global leaders and changemakers. The award also aims to amplify the message of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” across international platforms.
Originally scheduled to be held in the Netherlands, the award ceremony was moved to Suriname due to geopolitical disruptions. The event is now set to take place on 17th May 2025, and the award will be presented by His Excellency, the President of Suriname, Shri Chandrika Prasad.
Notable global figures such as Maurits Safdar Hoeseinkhan Hassankhan of Suriname and former Dutch Prime Minister & NATO Secretary General Mr. Mark Rutte are among the other esteemed nominees.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the award, Shri B.S. Jogdand (Navkiran Sanstha & Police Foundation) and Dr. Milind Mane (former MLA, Nagpur) highlighted the work of Shri Fadnavis in promoting police empowerment, youth rehabilitation, and national unity. They had presented the concept of the INSCR Award and the Hindi charity film Ladli Betiyan to Shri Fadnavis a year ago, receiving his full support.
Executive Engineer Shri Umesh V. Wankhede of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and the Beed Police Force, have been credited for their pivotal role in organizing the program.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Suriname Ministry and administration for supporting the initiative and honoring an Indian leader whose work continues to inspire on a global stage.
