Youva Masterstroke 2025 Sees Record Participation of Over 20 Lakh Students Across India

Mumbai: “Youva”, the stationery brand from ‘Navneet Education Limited’, has successfully concluded the 22nd edition of its flagship all-India drawing competition, ‘Youva Masterstroke’, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing creativity among young minds. Conducted between August and December, the competition continues to provide a powerful platform for students from nursery to Class 10 to express their imagination, ideas, and emotions through art.

Over the past two decades, 'Youva Masterstroke' has evolved from a simple drawing contest into a nationwide creative movement. The 2025 edition witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 20 lakh students from over 6,600 schools across the country participating enthusiastically. This remarkable scale highlights the growing importance of creative expression in education and the role of platforms like Masterstroke in encouraging holistic development among students.

The competition was thoughtfully structured into three age categories to ensure fair participation and evaluation:
Group A: KG to Grade 3
Group B: Grades 4 to 6
Group C: Grades 7 to 10

Each category provided young artists with an opportunity to showcase their unique perspectives, creativity, and storytelling abilities through drawing. The initiative goes beyond simply identifying winners—it fosters a culture where students can communicate complex thoughts and emotions through the universal language of art.

A key highlight of this year's edition was the rigorous evaluation process. District-level entries were reviewed under the mentorship of Bharat Parte, whose rich artistic background and association with the prestigious Sir J.J. School of Art added immense value to the judging process. His guidance ensured that the competition maintained high artistic standards while encouraging originality and expression.

The winners of Youva Masterstroke 2025 have been officially announced on the competition website, celebrating the finest creative talents from across regions. To ensure that every achievement is recognized, Youva is working closely with school authorities and its local teams to distribute prizes and certificates efficiently. So far, over 40,000 winners have already received their gift hampers, marking a significant milestone in the execution of the initiative.

District-level rounds were conducted specifically across Maharashtra and Goa, where top entries from each participating school were carefully evaluated, and one winner per group was selected for every district. This structured approach ensured widespread participation and recognition at the grassroots level.

Speaking about the success of the initiative, Abhijit Sanyal, Chief Strategy Officer at Youva, said, “Masterstroke is about the pride of creation. This year, with more than 6,600 schools joining the journey, the energy has been incredible. We aren’t just celebrating drawings—we are celebrating the next generation of thinkers, dreamers, and artists.”
