New Delhi: Apartment Eleven Eleven has announced the acquisition of Byte Band Technologies, an education technology company focused on transforming competitive exam preparation through artificial intelligence. The move marks a strategic expansion of Apartment Eleven Eleven’s education portfolio and strengthens its long-term focus on technology-led learning solutions.
The acquisition, whose financial details were not disclosed, involves a complete 100 percent buyout of Byte Band Technologies. One of the co-founders of Byte Band will continue with the organisation to support the next phase of growth and maintain continuity in execution and vision.
Byte Band Technologies has developed an AI-enabled learning platform designed to personalise competitive exam preparation by tracking student performance, identifying learning gaps and recommending customized study pathways. The platform currently offers CFA preparation modules and plans to expand into additional competitive exam categories in the future.
Unlike traditional exam preparation tools that focus mainly on content delivery or automation, Byte Band’s model emphasises measurable learning outcomes. The platform’s philosophy centres on using artificial intelligence to assess and strengthen the way students study, rather than replacing the learning process itself.
Commenting on the acquisition, Saahiba Bhatia said the company sees education as one of the strongest drivers of social transformation.
“What attracted us to Byte Band Technologies was its unique approach to artificial intelligence, using AI not to replace learning, but to rigorously assess and strengthen it. We believe the future of education lies in delivering highly personalized learning experiences while ensuring genuine knowledge acquisition and measurable outcomes,” she said.
The acquisition aligns with Apartment Eleven Eleven’s broader mission of expanding access to quality education and democratising learning opportunities for students across India. By leveraging technology and scalable educational models, the company aims to make high-quality exam preparation more accessible, especially for students outside major metropolitan cities.
India’s competitive exam ecosystem continues to grow rapidly, with examinations such as JEE, NEET and professional certifications playing a major role in shaping academic and career opportunities. However, access to effective and affordable preparation resources remains uneven, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Apartment Eleven Eleven said a key focus after the acquisition will be to bridge these educational gaps by expanding AI-powered learning solutions to underserved markets. The company plans to combine advanced artificial intelligence with scalable delivery systems to improve educational access and student outcomes nationwide.
The company also stated that its immediate priority will be the successful integration and scaling of Byte Band Technologies. While no further acquisitions are currently planned, Apartment Eleven Eleven remains focused on strengthening its position in the evolving edtech landscape through innovation-driven growth.
The acquisition highlights the growing adoption of artificial intelligence in India’s education sector, where personalised learning, performance analytics and adaptive study tools are increasingly shaping the future of competitive exam preparation.
