Dialogue over Division: Film Fraternity, Influencers and Media Journalists Turn to Maitreya Dadashreeji for a Message of Peace Amid Ongoing National Protests

 

Mumbai: Amid growing unrest and polarization across the country, members of the film fraternity, influencers, journalists and other public voices gathered under the banner of MaitriBodh Parivaar for a dialogue on restoring peace and social harmony. The interaction was led by Global Humanitarian Maitreya Dadashreeji, founder of the socio-spiritual organisation, which advocates love, unity and constructive social action.

The discussion was attended by actors Smita Jaykar, Raj Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal, Makarand Deshpande, Kunickaa Sadanand, Adinath Kothare, Aaditi Pohankar, along with RJ Malishka, Manav Manglani, Sneh Zala, several influencers, media professionals and members of the entertainment industry.

Addressing the gathering, Maitreya Dadashreeji reiterated the organisation's commitment to peace, saying that whenever society experiences unrest, MaitriBodh Parivaar will continue to work towards stability and reconciliation.

"Wherever there is disturbance, MaitriBodh Parivaar will be there for stability. We are pro-peace. We choose peace. One truly understands the value of peace only when it is disturbed. What is happening in our country today is deeply concerning. Our responsibility is not merely to react, but to find ways to restore harmony," he said.

Referring to the recent youth-led protests, he observed that many public movements begin with genuine intentions but often lose direction in the absence of constructive leadership. He stressed that the energy of young people should be guided through experience, discipline and thoughtful decision-making.

"The youth should pause, think, rethink and then act. India's future will be built through peace, not through unrest," he said, adding that lasting social transformation requires research, planning and practical solutions rather than protests alone.

Maitreya Dadashreeji also underlined the importance of timely communication from the government during periods of public unrest. According to him, transparent dialogue between authorities and citizens can prevent uncertainty and help build trust.

"The government should communicate with citizens at the earliest opportunity. Delayed communication creates uncertainty, and uncertainty creates panic. Through dialogue, healing becomes possible," he said.

Speaking about law enforcement agencies, he appealed for sensitivity while maintaining public order. He urged police personnel to treat young protesters with compassion and dignity, while asking citizens to respect the role of law enforcement.

He further emphasised that peaceful protest remains a democratic right, but violence cannot become the means for social change. Clarifying MaitriBodh Parivaar's position, he stated that the organisation remains above politics, ideology and religion.

"We are not with any political party, ideology or religion. We stand for One World, One Family — Ek Bharat Hum Bharat. Anything that divides one from another cannot become our path," he said.

The session concluded with MaitriBodh Parivaar reaffirming its commitment to serving as a bridge for dialogue, healing and constructive action whenever society faces division, while appealing to citizens to work collectively towards lasting peace and national harmony.
