Amit Paranjape, Director – Business Development at Paranjape Schemes Construction Ltd., said Pune is entering a crucial phase of infrastructure-led expansion. Projects such as the Pune Ring Road, the Hinjewadi–Shivajinagar Metro corridor and improved connectivity to the Pune–Mumbai Expressway are expected to enhance accessibility across the city and emerging growth corridors.
According to Paranjape, while the increase in borrowing costs may prompt homebuyers to assess financing expenses more carefully, purchasing decisions will continue to depend on key factors such as location, connectivity, employment opportunities and long-term property value.
He added that Pune's expanding infrastructure network, alongside its economic growth, is expected to help maintain steady demand from end-users.
For developers, the focus will remain on efficient cost management, maintaining construction progress and meeting delivery commitments across ongoing projects.
The outlook suggests that Pune’s residential real estate market could remain resilient, supported by infrastructure improvements and homebuyers’ continued focus on long-term value, despite the marginal increase in borrowing costs.
