RRP S4E Innovation Ltd and Optix Bulgaria Announce Strategic MoU to Advance India's Indigenous Defence Capabilities

Mumbai: In a landmark development that aligns with India’s push for self-reliance in defence manufacturing, RRP S4E Innovation Ltd, a fast-growing Indian electro-optics company, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Optix Bulgaria, global leaders in advanced electro-optics solutions. The MoU, formalized today, lays the foundation for Transfer of Technology (ToT) of next-generation battlefield technologies to the Indian defence sector.

Under this partnership, the two companies will collaborate to co-develop and manufacture advanced electro-optic solutions, including:

These systems will be tailored to meet the specific requirements of Indian defence forces, offering enhanced performance and affordability.

Optix Bulgaria, known for its battle-proven product line, has developed all of its solutions through robust in-house R&D. Its flagship product, ‘Diana’, is already deployed across strategic global locations and has earned a reputation as a game-changer in thermal imaging. Over 300 thermal sights are currently operational, showcasing their reliability and effectiveness.

“This is more than a partnership — it's a transformational moment for both companies,” said Georgy Kosturkov, CEO of Optix Bulgaria. “Our technology, combined with RRP's intimate understanding of India’s defence landscape, positions us to deliver unprecedented capability.”

Founded in 2018, RRP S4E Innovation Ltd has rapidly emerged as a key player in India’s defence innovation ecosystem. Today, the company boasts four patents, a growing product portfolio, and a reputation for technical excellence.

“We began with a vision, and today, we’re shaping the future,” said Rajendra Chodankar, Founder and Chairman of RRP S4E Innovation Ltd. “This partnership with Optix opens up limitless opportunities — not just for us, but for India’s strategic autonomy in high-tech defence manufacturing.”

The company recently recorded ₹61.58 crores in revenue, with strong profitability, and is now ambitiously targeting a ₹500 crore milestone in the near term.

The announcement was made at a high-profile press conference attended by key dignitaries from Optix Bulgaria, including:
