Seagram's 100 Pipers Glassware Campaign Aims to Inspire Contributions to Eradicate Corneal Blindness in India
National: "Seagram’s 100 Pipers Glassware" Play for a Cause initiative is dedicated to raising awareness about eye donation and its potential to eliminate corneal blindness in India. Corneal blindness affects approximately 1.5 million people in India, with 40 thousand new cases reported annually. Despite the potential for sight restoration through corneal transplantation, the availability of donor eyes remains significantly lower than the demand. India’s iconic rock band, Parikrama, has pledged to be organ donors and supports the initiative by performing live events across various cities, spreading awareness through their music.
