Mumbai: "Salesforce", the #1 AI-powered CRM (NYSE: CRM), has announced a strategic collaboration with "Tata Consumer Products Limited" (TCPL), a leading FMCG company, to propel TCPL’s 6digital transformation. This partnership has led to the creation of a next-gen "Go-To-Market" (GTM) platform, which revolutionizes TCPL's sales and distribution processes, enhancing speed and operational efficiency.
As part of its vision to evolve into a digital-first, data-driven organization, TCPL has implemented Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform, and Mulesoft. These technologies enable TCPL to streamline data integration and manage its extensive retail network, which spans over 1.63 million outlets. Mulesoft, in particular, plays a key role in simplifying large-scale data integration while ensuring stability and performance.
Salesforce’s AI and data management tools have been instrumental in accelerating TCPL’s transformation. The new GTM platform was deployed across over 3,000 distributors in just four months, with up to 200 distributors onboarded in a single day. This level of scalability has reduced onboarding time for distributors from over a week to just 45 minutes, and new retailers can now place orders in under two minutes. The platform also provides real-time market intelligence and insights into distributor sales and retail activity via Salesforce Customer 360.
