Mumbai: 'Holy Family Hospital' in Bandra (W) has launched its "One-Stop Breast Clinic" in honor of 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month', providing a comprehensive facility for breast care. The clinic was inaugurated by Bollywood actress and women’s health advocate Sameera Reddy. This initiative is aimed at addressing breast cancer, now the most common cancer among women, particularly in Mumbai.
The clinic offers services ranging from early diagnosis to personalized treatment plans, ensuring that women receive timely care. Speaking at the event, Sameera Reddy emphasized the importance of early detection, encouraging women to prioritize their health: “Awareness and early action are critical in the fight against breast cancer.”
Dr. (Sr) Beena, Executive Director of the hospital, highlighted the clinic’s role in addressing the growing need for specialized breast care, while Dr. Dale Rodrigues, a leading Surgical Oncologist, underscored the clinical importance of early intervention, which can significantly improve outcomes.
A panel discussion followed the inauguration, featuring medical experts including Dr. Dale Rodrigues, Dr. Nikhil Dharmadhikari, and others. The panel discussed preventive measures and latest treatment strategies, marking the clinic as a significant step toward enhancing access to specialized breast care in the region.
