Zee Unveils Bold New Brand Identity and Industry-first Initiative ‘Z’ Whats Next

 

National: Zee, one of India’s most iconic and beloved media brands, has stepped into a bold new era with the unveiling of its refreshed brand identity and compelling new brand promise — “Yours Truly, Z.” Reaching over 854 million viewers across 208 million households, the network also launched an ambitious industry-facing initiative, ‘Z’ Whats Next, to showcase its transformation into a forward-thinking content-tech powerhouse.


‘Z’ Whats Next is an industry-first platform that brings together Zee’s partners, creators, and advertisers to witness firsthand the network’s evolving vision and reimagined approach to entertainment. It spotlighted the seamless blend of creativity, technology, and culture that powers Zee’s storytelling across platforms — from television to OTT to social media.

The initiative underlined Zee’s role in a changing content landscape, reaffirming that while digital platforms continue to grow, television remains India’s most powerful and influential storyteller, with Zee at the forefront. With storytelling now transcending formats and devices, Zee continues to deliver narratives that move fluidly across platforms, driven by character-led formats and culturally resonant themes.

These next-generation regional channels mark Zee’s strategic expansion into hybrid entertainment formats that blend fiction, non-fiction, films, and experimental content tailored to local tastes.

"Zee Power" is a high-energy Kannada channel targeting Karnataka’s younger and semi-urban audience. With bolder storytelling and aspirational themes, 'Zee Power' offers a fresh take on Kannada entertainment. The channel is set to launch in August 2025 with a multimedia campaign across the state, and a content line-up featuring five fiction shows, a daily non-fiction program, movie showcases, and World Television Premieres.
