Mumbai: "UGRO Capital Limited", a leading DataTech NBFC focused on MSME lending, has reached a significant milestone by surpassing INR 10,000 crore in 'Assets Under Management' (AUM). This achievement highlights the company's dedication to empowering MSMEs across India. In just two years, UGRO Capital has seen substantial growth, up from INR 1,700 crore AUM in 2022, following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since its inception, 'UGRO Capital' has supported over 1 lakh MSMEs, with the aim of becoming India's largest small business financing institution. This growth is attributed to the efforts of its 3,500 employees, as well as partnerships with stakeholders, lenders, and global development financial institutions.
To mark this occasion, 'UGRO Capital' has launched the UGRO 10K Celebration Run, a virtual marathon campaign designed to promote the health and well-being of its employees. The initiative encourages employees to participate in a 10 KM virtual marathon on 27th October 2024, with the goal of covering a collective 10,000 kilometers, symbolizing UGRO’s continued growth and commitment to health. In the lead-up, shorter runs (3 KM, 4 KM, and 5 KM) are fostering team spirit and healthy competition among employees.
Additionally, UGRO has introduced the 'UGRO Anthem', a motivational song created by employees using AI. The anthem reflects the company's culture and shared vision, serving as a motivational rallying cry for UGRO’s workforce.
