Dr. Ashai's vast experience in sports medicine and physiotherapy played a pivotal role in ensuring that runners had access to expert care whenever required.
The Quick Response Team, comprising highly skilled physiotherapists and medical professionals, was formed under the leadership of Dr. Sanjiv Jha, President of the IAP, and Dr. Ruchi Varshney, President of the IAP's Women Cell. Their collaborative efforts highlighted the importance of advanced medical preparedness at large-scale events, ensuring that any health emergencies were swiftly addressed.
Reflecting on his contribution, Dr. Ashai shared: "I am deeply honored to have had the opportunity to lead the Quick Response Team for the 'Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025'.
