Zenzo Launches 'Make India Emergency Ready' Initiative with 25,000 Ambulances Across 450 Cities

Mumbai: “Zenzo”, India’s leading emergency response service provider, hosted the 'Make India Emergency Ready' meet at NSCI Mumbai, unveiling its groundbreaking initiative to transform emergency medical care in the country. The company has launched the largest network of 25,000 ambulances across 450 cities, including basic life support, advanced cardiac care, and 5G-enabled ambulances that allow real-time patient monitoring and hospital coordination.

The initiative aims to reduce emergency response time and improve pre-hospital care through state-of-the-art digital technology. Real-time data sharing will help paramedics transmit crucial patient vitals to hospitals, ensuring quicker and more effective treatment.

'Zenzo' has partnered with Zomato and other e-commerce and mobility platforms to spread awareness about emergency response, CPR training, and first-aid. Delivery personnel, often the first responders in critical situations, will receive training to handle emergencies efficiently until professional medical assistance arrives.

Ms. Sweta Mangal, Co-Founder and CEO of Zenzo, emphasized the company’s mission: “Zenzo's core objective is to ‘Make India Emergency Ready’ by leveraging digital innovation to build a robust medical emergency infrastructure. By offering the largest validated ambulance network, we aim to reduce fatalities, enhance emergency response times, and create greater public awareness about emergency medical care.”

She further highlighted how India’s growing urban traffic congestion often leads to fatal delays in emergency response. With ambulances averaging a 134.5-minute response time, Zenzo is working to revolutionize access to emergency care.

India faces 1,50,000 road traffic deaths annually, with 30% of fatalities linked to delayed medical response. In 2024 alone, Mumbai recorded 4,935 road accidents and 1,108 fatalities, highlighting the dire need for efficient emergency services.

Zenzo’s initiative addresses this challenge by ensuring:

  • Rapid ambulance deployment through digital coordination
  • Collaboration with hospitals, corporations, and local authorities
  • Public engagement programs to educate citizens on emergency response

With the 'Make India Emergency Ready' initiative, Zenzo is set to redefine India’s emergency medical infrastructure, ensuring every citizen has access to life-saving care when it matters the most. For more updates on this initiative, visit Zenzo’s official website.
