Spanning 9,000 sq. ft., the state-of-the-art facility marks a significant leap forward in the delivery of advanced, accessible, and comprehensive eye care.

A unit of Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, the upgraded center boasts cutting-edge ophthalmic technology, including a modular operating theatre, world-class laser refractive suite, and a modern diagnostic and retail section. The hospital is now fully equipped to provide specialized services across Cataract, Retina, Cornea, LASIK, Glaucoma, Uveitis, Squint, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Oculoplasty—all under one roof.

“This facility exemplifies how cutting-edge medical innovation, guided by a patient-first philosophy, can raise the bar for healthcare delivery,” said Governor Radhakrishnan during the inauguration. “I commend the entire team for their unwavering commitment to making world-class eye treatment accessible to every citizen of Maharashtra.”

The revamped center features top-tier surgical and diagnostic systems such as the Alcon Constellation surgical unit, 3D ARTEVO microscope, WAVE LIGHT EX500 for LASIK, ZEISS Green and YAG lasers, and imaging tools like the NIDEK Mirante and ZEISS OCT 5000.

This hospital is a testament to that mission.”

Prof. Dr. S. Natarajan, Medical Director of Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, emphasized the center’s broader goals: “This transformation enables us not only to treat more patients but also to train the next generation of ophthalmologists and continue our legacy of trusted eye care.”

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital currently treats over 2 million patients annually and performs 200,000+ surgeries worldwide. The group plans further expansions in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

As part of its public health outreach, the hospital is offering free eye check-ups for senior citizens aged 50 and above until May 31.
