Aakash Students Excel in Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition 2025

 

Mumbai: “Aakash Educational Services Limited” (AESL), a leader in test preparatory education, proudly announced that 11 of its students have emerged as top performers in the prestigious ‘Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition (DHBBVC) 2025’, showcasing remarkable scientific acumen and critical thinking.

Among the distinguished achievers, Aaron Thakkar from Chembur clinched the Gold Medal along with a scholarship of ₹3,000, while Sakshi Rajesh Kolte from Navi Mumbai secured the Silver Medal and a scholarship of ₹2,000. These accolades come after their successful navigation through all four challenging stages of the competition—Theory, Practical, General Interview, and Evaluation of Action Research Projects.

Organized annually by the Greater Bombay Science Teachers’ Association (GBSTA) since 1981, 'DHBBVC' is a premier science competition in Maharashtra aimed at students in Grades 6 and 9. It fosters scientific reasoning, innovation, and the application of core principles across English and Marathi mediums.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. H.R. Rao, Chief Academic and Business Head (West), AESL, said, “This achievement reflects the deep curiosity and analytical thinking our students bring to science. It is a testament to their perseverance and the expert mentoring provided by our faculty.
