Maharashtra: In a groundbreaking move for in-car entertainment, Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile manufacturer, has announced a strategic collaboration with Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB), a global leader in immersive audio technology, to bring the Dolby Atmos® experience to the all-new Harrier.EV, India’s most powerful homegrown electric SUV.


This partnership marks a significant leap in the Indian automotive sector, blending Tata Motors’ innovative electric vehicle engineering with Dolby’s world-renowned audio technology to create an unprecedented in-cabin entertainment experience. The Harrier.EV is now equipped to deliver multidimensional, studio-quality sound that transforms every drive into an immersive auditory journey.

Dolby Atmos represents a revolutionary way to experience sound, allowing listeners to feel every detail and direction of audio with stunning clarity and depth. The Harrier.EV will allow passengers to enjoy Dolby Atmos-compatible content from popular apps like Gaana and Audible, accessed through the Arcade.EV app store integrated into the vehicle’s infotainment system.   • deep bass subwoofer placed in the boot area
  • An 8-channel amplifier that ensures rich, dynamic sound output
