MAAC Concludes Mumbai Edition of MAAC Manifest 2025, Reinforcing Maharashtra’s Position as a Creative Powerhouse

MUMBAI: “MAAC” (Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity), one of India’s premier institutes for high-end 3D animation, VFX, gaming, multimedia, and digital content creation—and a leading training brand of 'Aptech Limited' — successfully concluded the Mumbai edition of its flagship industry forum, "MAAC Manifest 2025", held at Rangsharda Auditorium, Bandra West.

The Mumbai chapter continued the event’s well-established legacy of empowering aspiring creators by bringing together students, educators, and industry leaders for an immersive day of learning, mentorship, and future-focused insights. Designed to bridge the gap between academic training and industry expectations, the event featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions that provided students with a comprehensive understanding of India’s rapidly evolving Media and Entertainment (M&E) landscape.

The event was graced by Adv. Ashish Shelar, Minister of Information Technology & Cultural Affairs and Guardian Minister for Mumbai Suburban, who delivered an inspiring address on Maharashtra’s commitment to strengthening the AVGC-XR (Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) ecosystem. As the Chief Guest, he highlighted the state government’s focus on integrating policy support, cultural infrastructure, and industry-academia collaboration to nurture emerging creative talent.

Saying that Mumbai continues to be the nerve centre of India’s film, streaming, advertising, and digital content industries, he noted: “MAAC has been at the forefront of India’s creative landscape when it comes to nurturing talent for India and Maharashtra’s M&E industry. This edition of MAAC Manifest strengthened their legacy and showcased the talent and ambition that define our creative spirit. Maharashtra is committed to strengthening the AVGC-XR ecosystem with the right enablers—industry collaboration, cultural infrastructure, and future-focused skilling—so young creators can find meaningful opportunities here at home and make a global impact.”

Reflecting on the success of the Mumbai edition, Mr. Sandip Weling, Chief Business Officer – Global Retail at Aptech Limited and Brand Custodian – MAAC, said: “MAAC Manifest stands for access and opportunity. It brings students, creative professionals, and experts into one room and creates clarity on what it takes to build relevant skills and get studio-ready. Our goal is simple: inspire action, guide learning, and help every student see a clear path from the classroom to a thriving creative career. A big thank you to all our students, esteemed speakers, and Adv. Ashish Shelar for gracing this occasion and empowering our students with industry-first insights!”

MAAC Manifest 2025 attracted students from across Mumbai and neighbouring regions as well as representatives from partner studios and production houses. Through structured conversations, expert-led sessions, and exposure to industry expectations, the forum reiterated MAAC's commitment to building a skilled, future-ready talent pipeline capable of contributing to India’s booming AVGC-XR and digital entertainment sectors.

With the successful completion of its Mumbai chapter, MAAC continues to champion the growth of India’s creative workforce, inspiring young artists to transform passion into profession.
