Legends set the race track on fire at the finale of "The Indian National Autocross Championship 2018"

Thane: After an exciting weekend, the motoring extravaganza, "Indian National Autocross Championship (INAC) 2018" concluded with its finale in Thane on February 3, 2019. Run under the aegis of the FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India) the event is an entry point for many young and budding drivers to kick start a career in Motorsports.

The three day event attracted some of the top performing drivers across India. The driver eligibility for the INAC finals were selected basis their performance in the four regional rounds held earlier. Concurrent to the INAC the venue hosted the IARC Open Autocross 2019 which was an open competition for car enthusiasts, who tested their own mettle.

Two of the key highlights of the event were the Tandem Drifting and the Race of Legends. While Tandem Drifting saw Mr. Gautam Hari Singhania and Mr. Gaurav Gill, India’s Premier Rally Driver enthral motorsport enthusiasts with some amazing sideways action.

The Race of Legends, on the other hand, boasted of a star-studded line up of 22 track and rally champions of the past reliving their racing days and rekindling old track rivalries. Vikram Mathias triumphed the Race of Legends, while Nikhil Taneja and Sagar Muthappa finished second and third respectively.
