Mumbai: “iQOO”, a leading performance-smartphone brand under the VIVO Group, in collaboration with ‘Cyber Media Research’ (CMR), has released “The iQOO Quest Report 2024”, focusing on the dreams, careers, and aspirations of Gen Z. The comprehensive report, based on insights from 6,700 respondents aged 20 to 24 from seven countries, explores the traits and trends of this optimistic generation.
The report covers three key areas: the spirit and motivation of Gen Z to fulfill their dreams, the obstacles and barriers they face, and the career choices that drive their interests. Notably, the report highlights that Gen Z in Maharashtra faces high societal pressure, yet maintains a 94% optimism and clarity of aspirations.
Key Maharashtra Findings:
- 72% of Gen Z in Maharashtra are willing to sacrifice work-life balance to achieve their aspirations.
- 94% prioritize overall happiness above all.
- 76% aim to be recognized as experts in their field.
- Interest in the financial sector is twice the national average.

- 43% of Indian and 46% of global respondents are willing to give up work-life balance for career success.

The report was conducted by iQOO and CMR, gathering insights from India, USA, UK, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. It reveals that 62% of Indian youth are willing to sacrifice hobbies to achieve their dreams, reflecting the determination of Gen Z.
