Mumbai: "Red Bull Solo Legends", India’s largest-ever solo 'Battlegrounds Mobile India' (BGMI) tournament, concluded with a groundbreaking finale that saw Harsh Malik, popularly known as Spraygod, clinch the championship title. The high-energy National Finals were held at Mumbai’s iconic Royal Opera House, marking the first time the 112-year-old cultural landmark hosted an esports event. The grand finale witnessed a packed auditorium and crossed 811,000+ online viewers across multiple YouTube livestreams—setting a new milestone for Indian esports viewership.
The National Finals brought together 64 of the country’s strongest solo BGMI athletes, including 32 regional qualifiers, 24 invited pros, and 8 specially selected Chaos Agents who were added to intensify the competition. The invited lineup featured India’s top esports stars such as Jonathan Amaral (Jonathan Gaming), Tanishk Singh (Admino), Rudra (Spower), Sahil Jakhar (Omega), and Sohail Shaikh (Hector), all of whom are known for their stellar performances in major BGMI competitions.
To make the finale even more unpredictable, Chaos Agents—including Aman Jain (Aman), Chetan Chandgude (Kronten), Deepanshi Rawat (Dobby), Mahek Syed (Mizo), Antaryami, Joker Ki Haveli, Viper, and Willy—were strategically placed to disrupt players and force unexpected encounters. Their inclusion added an extra layer of challenge, keeping both the audience and participants on edge throughout the matches.
The scoring format awarded points for placement as well as finishes, encouraging aggressive yet tactical gameplay. Players earned 20 points for a Chicken Dinner, 16 for second place, 13 for third, and so on, along with one point per finish and two additional points for eliminating a Chaos Agent.
Across three intense matches, Spraygod displayed exceptional consistency, sharp aim, and impeccable game sense, earning 39 points, which included 12 finishes. His performance secured him the title of India’s first-ever Red Bull Solo Legend and an exclusive international Red Bull Racing experience.
Amaan Shaikh (Skipz) and Mohammad Raja (Manya) tied for second place with 30 points each, while Saumya Raj (Saumraj) and Meghraj Jaat (Godz) finished in third place with 27 points apiece.
“Winning Red Bull Solo Legends feels unreal. This tournament tested every aspect of my gameplay because it was a unique format and not something we usually play. Competing against India’s best players on a stage as iconic as the Royal Opera House is something I will always remember. I am grateful to Red Bull for the opportunity and incredibly happy to be crowned India’s first Solo Legend,” said champion Harsh Malik aka Spraygod.
'Red Bull Solo Legends' saw over 10,000 solo BGMI players participate in a multi-level tournament designed to identify the most skilled individual player in the country. Online regional qualifiers were conducted from November 5–16, followed by regional finals from November 20–23, where the top eight players from each zone advanced to the National Finals.
The tournament stood out for its pure solo format, completely removing the reliance on teammates and testing a player’s individual instincts, mechanics, rotations, and mental endurance. This structure, combined with a prestigious venue like the Royal Opera House, showcased the growing cultural impact of gaming and esports in India.
With this landmark edition, Red Bull Solo Legends has not only crowned India’s best solo BGMI player but also set a new benchmark for production quality, venue selection, and competitive standards in Indian esports.
